Our Sacred Trust

Last updated: November 7, 2026

At Praying Mothers (prayingmothers.org), we recognize that sharing a family situation or personal burden requires deep trust. We are committed to honoring your vulnerability by safeguarding every detail you share through our website and prayer altars.

1 What Information We Collect

We only collect information you voluntarily provide when using our website forms:

  • Contact Form: Your full name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number, subject, and message.
  • Prayer Request Form: Your name (or "Anonymous" if selected), email address, phone number, city or country, prayer category, and prayer burden.
  • Technical & Security Data: IP address and submission timestamp (used solely for rate limiting, anti-spam honeypot verification, and firewall security).

2 Why We Collect This Information

We collect this information exclusively for ministry purposes:

  • To pray and intercede: Bringing your specific prayer requests before the Lord in agreement.
  • To respond to you: Sending words of encouragement, answering questions, or inviting you to our Zoom fellowships.
  • To confirm receipt: Sending an automated confirmation email so you know your burden has been received.
  • To maintain site security: Protecting our servers against automated abuse and spam bots.

3 Who Can See Your Details

Your details are treated with the strictest confidentiality:

  • Prayer Team Only: Confidential prayer burdens are accessible strictly by our authorized pastoral intercessory team.
  • No Public Sharing: We never publish prayer requests or visitor messages publicly without your explicit, written consent.
  • No Selling or Marketing: We never sell, rent, lease, or share your contact details with commercial third parties or advertisers.

4 Data Retention and Automatic Cleanup

We do not retain personal burdens indefinitely:

  • Prayer Requests: Retained for active intercession and automatically pruned after 12 months, unless an earlier deletion is requested.
  • Contact Messages: Stored until the inquiry has been resolved and archived.
  • Testimonies: Published testimonies are retained on the website until the author requests their removal.

5 Your Rights: Access, Correction and Deletion

You have full ownership of your data. At any time, you may:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request that we correct or update any inaccuracies.
  • Request immediate, permanent deletion of your messages or prayer requests.

To make any privacy request, please email our administrative team directly at: admin@prayingmothers.org.

6 How We Protect Your Data

We use secure socket layer (SSL/TLS) encryption for all web traffic and SMTP mail delivery, role-based access control (RBAC) to restrict staff portal access, brute-force rate limiters, anti-spam honeypots, and continuous audit trails to ensure our systems remain safe and protected.
